It's great to have a website dedicated to important communications and everything you need to know about the ski school. It helps both instructors and clients navigate the ski school, both organizationally and in terms of reliability and professionalism.

The only downside, in my opinion, is the complex design of the menu interface, which isn't particularly intuitive, although this is a problem that resolves itself with consistent use of the website.

We had a wonderful experience with both our children (9 and 5); the school (and particularly Prem) is responsive, organised and flexible when required. We have found every teacher to be very kind and friendly which has made the whole difference!

Top! I've been using them for over two years, and the results are incredible. At 40, and afraid to let go of my board, it was a real challenge for me. But Nicola is the best! Technique, talent, and kindness: he helped me push my limits. If you want real results, trust him and Giorgio Rocca's school! And Veronica is second to none for all the office management: always available and smiling. I adore you!

Marco is the man! To say my friend and I had an extraordinary time would be an understatement! He is incredibly skilled and patient - and also kept me relaxed.

We had the best time today and want to come back to take lessons again. So happy with this experience, thanks to Marco! He came highly recommended and lived up to his reputation for being the best.

Biomechanical Precision
on the Snow

Nordic skiing is entirely an efficiency game. Shuffling or muscling your way through the tracks leads to quick exhaustion. Private technical sessions break down your exact body positioning—ensuring a complete lateral weight transfer and clean pole entry angles so you travel further with half the physical output.

“Speed in cross-country skiing isn’t about working harder; it’s about extending the duration of your glide phase on a single balanced ski.”

Technical Milestones

  • Classic Mechanics: Clean kick-and-glide rhythms and optimal track positioning
  • Skating Tempos: Mastering V1 timing for climbs and V2 open dance for flats
  • Ankle flexion and hip drive adjustments to prevent premature fatiguing
  • Descent handling: Cornering, down-track speed control, and step-turning
  • Cardiovascular pacing and uphill herringbone stride mechanics
  • Immediate posture correction through real-time movement analysis on the loop

Targeted Nordic Development

Foundation & Track Basics

Built for those new to Nordic tracks. Focuses completely on finding your center of mass over the classic ski, working through the diagonal stride, and mastering downhill speed control.

Skating Technique Transition

For riders switching to the dynamic skating discipline. We map out the inside edge push-off, coordinate the pole-plant timing, and build the confidence needed for high-tempo open loops.

Marathon & Endurance Pace

High-level biomechanical coaching for racers. Refines upper-body power transfer, targets anaerobic thresholds, and optimizes step-by-step efficiency for long-distance events.

Direct Technical Assessment

Our private lessons don’t rely on generic group instructions. We look strictly at your specific joint angles, balance points, and pole placement, delivering exact anatomical corrections that instantly stabilize your platform and clean up your forward momentum.

The Engadin Valley Trail Network

With 220 kilometers of tracks sprawling across frozen alpine lakes and pine forests, St. Moritz provides the ultimate testing ground. We select loops that isolate your technical weaknesses—utilizing flat lake stretches to lock down weight transfer or rolling valley hills to perfect climbing transitions.

One-on-One Technical
Nordic Development

Private structure removes all outside distractions. The coach tracks your performance continuously across every loop, making instantaneous modifications to your hip height and ankle angles so you establish pristine muscle memory from your first kilometer.

These individual sessions are ideal if you:

  • Want to establish correct Classic style habits without shuffling
  • Are transitioning to the complex weight shifts of the Skating technique
  • Need to identify and patch up hidden energy drains over long tracks
  • Require explicit speed strategy for the Engadin Ski Marathon
  • Wish to navigate fast, icy track descents safely and defensively

Refine Your Stride

Developing a true glide fundamentally changes cross-country skiing. Professional technical training replaces exhausting, static lunging with a fluid, continuous single-ski platform. Whether you are aiming to quietly explore the wilderness loops or break personal records on the marathon line, we are here to master your glide in St. Moritz.
