It's great to have a website dedicated to important communications and everything you need to know about the ski school. It helps both instructors and clients navigate the ski school, both organizationally and in terms of reliability and professionalism.

The only downside, in my opinion, is the complex design of the menu interface, which isn't particularly intuitive, although this is a problem that resolves itself with consistent use of the website.

We had a wonderful experience with both our children (9 and 5); the school (and particularly Prem) is responsive, organised and flexible when required. We have found every teacher to be very kind and friendly which has made the whole difference!

Top! I've been using them for over two years, and the results are incredible. At 40, and afraid to let go of my board, it was a real challenge for me. But Nicola is the best! Technique, talent, and kindness: he helped me push my limits. If you want real results, trust him and Giorgio Rocca's school! And Veronica is second to none for all the office management: always available and smiling. I adore you!

Marco is the man! To say my friend and I had an extraordinary time would be an understatement! He is incredibly skilled and patient - and also kept me relaxed.

We had the best time today and want to come back to take lessons again. So happy with this experience, thanks to Marco! He came highly recommended and lived up to his reputation for being the best.

Active Balance &
Natural Motion

Children learn best through kinetic discovery rather than rigid lectures. Because cross-country equipment is exceptionally light and flexes underfoot, we utilize agility tracks and single-ski coordination drills to help young skiers intuitively locate their center of mass without leaning back onto their heels.

“When a child learns to balance fully on a gliding ski early on, they develop deep muscular memory that stays with them forever.”

Youth Skill Development

  • Ankle & Knee Flexion: Learning to bounce and absorb track textures
  • The Parallel Wedge: Mastering safe friction braking within the track
  • Weight Shifts: Fluid movement from left to right without shuffling feet
  • Agility Dynamics: Stepping over obstacles and mastering quick step-turns
  • Safety Instincts: How to fall softly on soft snow and stand up effortlessly
  • Trail Awareness: Reading trail directions and navigating group passing loops

Designed for Young Athletes

Foundational Balance

For complete young beginners. We focus heavily on getting comfortable on narrow skis, practicing active shifting games, and locking down the snowplow braking position on total flats.

Rhythmic Stride & Track

Stepping firmly inside the classic parallel tracks. Kids learn how to leverage the flex of the kick zone and coordinate their arms to glide forward over longer valley networks.

Advanced Youth Skating

For older kids ready to step up their speed. We teach the lateral inside-edge push-off, coordinate high-speed V1/V2 poling rhythms, and explore undulating hill sections safely.

Engaging, Safe Instruction

Our private instructors understand how to keep children safe, motivated, and physically energized. We avoid tedious, static explanations, opting instead for continuous motion, creative coordination paths, and structured coaching intervals that keep lessons highly productive.

The Protected Loops of Celerina & Zuoz

The Engadin valley provides specialized, sheltered trail networks that are ideal for young learners. We base our youth training on flat, wind-protected forest trails that eliminate steep unexpected downhills, giving kids a relaxed environment to focus on building pure coordination.

One-on-One Attention
for Absolute Safety

Large group camps often overlook subtle bad habits, like collapsed knees or dragging poles, which can cause muscle strain. Private youth lessons keep the coach right next to your child on every loop, making minor adjustments to their posture so they build clean muscle memory.

Our private youth lessons are perfect if your kids:

  • Need a gentle, encouraging first experience with narrow Nordic skis
  • Want to master reliable, instant stopping controls before handling hills
  • Excel best with dedicated, individual attention rather than busy group classes
  • Are transitioning from downhill skiing to low-impact endurance styles
  • Hope to comfortably join their parents on the scenic valley trails

Inspire a Love for the Trail

Learning cross-country skiing at a young age provides a fantastic foundation for lifelong health and spatial balance. By focusing closely on correct joint movement and stress-free pacing, we transform the initial learning curve into an exciting, positive outdoor adventure. Let us build your child’s confidence on the beautiful loops of St. Moritz.
