It's great to have a website dedicated to important communications and everything you need to know about the ski school. It helps both instructors and clients navigate the ski school, both organizationally and in terms of reliability and professionalism.

The only downside, in my opinion, is the complex design of the menu interface, which isn't particularly intuitive, although this is a problem that resolves itself with consistent use of the website.

We had a wonderful experience with both our children (9 and 5); the school (and particularly Prem) is responsive, organised and flexible when required. We have found every teacher to be very kind and friendly which has made the whole difference!

Top! I've been using them for over two years, and the results are incredible. At 40, and afraid to let go of my board, it was a real challenge for me. But Nicola is the best! Technique, talent, and kindness: he helped me push my limits. If you want real results, trust him and Giorgio Rocca's school! And Veronica is second to none for all the office management: always available and smiling. I adore you!

Marco is the man! To say my friend and I had an extraordinary time would be an understatement! He is incredibly skilled and patient - and also kept me relaxed.

We had the best time today and want to come back to take lessons again. So happy with this experience, thanks to Marco! He came highly recommended and lived up to his reputation for being the best.

Effortless Glide,
Maximum Performance

Cross-country skiing looks peaceful, but without the right technique, it quickly becomes an exhausting uphill battle. We strip away the bad habits, focusing heavily on shifting your weight fully onto a single gliding ski and timing your poles so you pick up free speed without spiking your heart rate.

“True cross-country technique isn’t about muscle power. It’s about finding that fraction of a second where you balance completely on a gliding ski.”

Technical Focus Areas

  • Classic Style: Master the diagonal stride, kick-and-glide phases, and tracking
  • Skating Style: Perfecting your V1 offset, V2 alternate, and V2 open dance tempos
  • Full lateral weight transfer to maximize the duration of every single glide
  • Descending tactics: How to corner, snowplow, and step-turn safely in high-speed tracks
  • Pacing strategy and uphill herringbone technique for steeper topography
  • Real-time movement adjustments on the snow to correct hip and ankle alignment

Select Your Nordic Track

First Time on Tracks

Perfect for complete beginners. Learn the basics of the Classic diagonal stride, how to balance over the ski, use your poles correctly for balance, and stop or slow down comfortably on descents.

Introduction to Skating

Transition from Classic style to the dynamic Skating technique. Master the basic push-off from the inside edge, lock down your V1 timing for inclines, and develop a continuous, rhythmic glide.

Endurance & Marathon Prep

For racers looking to optimize speed. Fine-tune your V2 high-speed tempo, clean up upper-body power distribution, and practice tactical trail pacing specifically for long-distance challenges.

Coaching Focused on Biomechanics

Our Nordic instructors break the sport down to its physics. Instead of simply skiing next to you and telling you to press harder, they analyze your core lean, ankle flexion, and pole angles to unlock a silky smooth glide that requires half the physical effort.

220 Kilometers of World-Class Trails

The Engadin valley boasts one of the most legendary cross-country networks on earth. From the dead-flat lake tracks over Silvaplana and St. Moritz to the rolling, wooded loops of Celerina and Pontresina, we choose the exact terrain profile that forces your specific technical weak spots to clean up naturally.

Private Technical
Nordic Instruction

Private cross-country lessons ensure your instructor watches every single stride. Without the distraction of a large group, you get instant micro-adjustments on weight transfer, body positioning, and poling power so you build efficient muscle memory quickly.

These lessons are ideal if you:

  • Want to learn the foundations of Classic cross-country skiing correctly
  • Plan to shift from Classic style to high-energy Skating technique
  • Want to iron out energy leaks to stay fresh over long distances
  • Are training to maximize your speed and timing for the Engadin Marathon
  • Want targeted down-hill instruction to handle fast track descents safely

Find Your Stride

Dialing in your Nordic technique changes how you perceive cross-country skiing entirely. Our focused technical lessons remove the clumsy shuffling phase, showing you how to ride the ski cleanly for fluid, graceful travel. Whether you want to quietly tour the valley floor or push your limits against the clock, we are here to maximize your glide in St. Moritz.
