It's great to have a website dedicated to important communications and everything you need to know about the ski school. It helps both instructors and clients navigate the ski school, both organizationally and in terms of reliability and professionalism.

The only downside, in my opinion, is the complex design of the menu interface, which isn't particularly intuitive, although this is a problem that resolves itself with consistent use of the website.

We had a wonderful experience with both our children (9 and 5); the school (and particularly Prem) is responsive, organised and flexible when required. We have found every teacher to be very kind and friendly which has made the whole difference!

Top! I've been using them for over two years, and the results are incredible. At 40, and afraid to let go of my board, it was a real challenge for me. But Nicola is the best! Technique, talent, and kindness: he helped me push my limits. If you want real results, trust him and Giorgio Rocca's school! And Veronica is second to none for all the office management: always available and smiling. I adore you!

Marco is the man! To say my friend and I had an extraordinary time would be an understatement! He is incredibly skilled and patient - and also kept me relaxed.

We had the best time today and want to come back to take lessons again. So happy with this experience, thanks to Marco! He came highly recommended and lived up to his reputation for being the best.

The Best Way to
Start Riding

Trying to keep up with a fast group can quickly take the fun out of learning. With a dedicated private coach, we take things one step at a time. You get instant, reassuring feedback on your balance and stance, helping you shake off early nerves and learn how to control your board smoothly from day one.

“A beginner’s first few days on a board shape how they see the sport forever. A patient, supportive approach sets a safe foundation that builds genuine confidence.”

What We Focus On

  • Finding your natural, comfortable stance (Regular vs. Goofy)
  • Learning how to control speed and stop with complete confidence
  • Mastering easy, fluid heel-side and toe-side slipping
  • Stress-free guidance on how to use ski lifts safely
  • Practicing on the widest, gentlest nursery slopes in St. Moritz
  • A calm, highly encouraging environment from morning to afternoon

Your Step-by-Step Milestones

1. Stance & Balance

We start on flat snow to get you comfortable with your board setup. You will learn basic mobility, how to strap in safely, and how to distribute your body weight so you always feel steady.

2. Speed Control

Next, we move to gentle beginner slopes. You will master the ‘side-slip’ on both your heel and toe edges, giving you the power to slow down or bring yourself to a complete stop whenever you want.

3. Linking Simple Turns

Once you feel secure with your speed, your coach will guide you through your very first linked turns. You’ll learn how to point the board down the hill and smoothly transition from edge to edge.

Patient, Friendly Coaching

We select coaches who aren’t just great riders, but clear, welcoming communicators. They remember exactly what it feels like to be a beginner. Your instructor will break down movements into simple, easily repeatable steps, keeping the atmosphere lighthearted and zero-pressure so you can learn with a smile.

Perfect Beginner Areas in St. Moritz

St. Moritz is home to beautiful, wide-open beginner parks and nursery runs that get plenty of mountain sunshine. Your coach will pick the calmest, safest pockets of terrain to practice on, ensuring you can master your movements away from faster, heavy ski traffic.

A Simple, Stress-Free
